Though the past years have gone by so fast... I always knew it was too good to last... Our lives will change... As old friends move out of range... We all waited for this day... When we can all go our own way... Friends will leave and part... Knowing we'll always be in each other's hearts... I wish we could all just stay together... Teachers and classmates, together forever... Then we'll never have to say our goodbyes... Or leave with tears in our eyes... We've all come a long way... Praying for the day... When we finally realize... This is our last chance to say "Thank you" and "Goodbye"... This Poem was written by me in 8th Grade (2009/2010) before going into High School. My English Teacher submitted a few Poems per student who gave permission. It was Published by the Publisher to a Poetry Book later that Year. Unfortunately, I do not have a copy to my knowledge, and I do not have any information about the book.
